Bought these wild at 2", about $22 each. For a barb, these are relatively rare, and kinda expensive. Eats very well, good growth so far. Mixed with a group of Roselines. Growth to 4", with nice coloration. Not aggressive, but do chase each other only. I bought these as I really wanted to add some color to my tank, and wanted something that would not outgrow my 170g.
 
It is certainly a good looking fish that I will have to keep in mind if I set up a community tank.

Bought 5 for $90 from Wet Spot. Got 4 left, as one got chewed up the next day. They are very active, always swimming. Check out my Vid.....again! LOL
