My favorite pair of turtles

Of all the turtles I'm currently keeping, my pair of Staurotypus salvinii are my favorite. I've had the pair for a little over three years. They are very active, inquisitive and highly aggressive. Both will attack and try to eat anything placed in their tanks. I guess I enjoy them so much because they're just so much fun to watch.

Thanks. I keep each in it's own tank, as they are really aggressive and will probably hurt each other badly if I keep them together. I'll take pictures of the tanks when I get a chance and post them. In the mean time here are a couple of more photos of the turtles. Please excuse their quality as I'm really not a great photographer.

AFRO-thunder, Thanks and no they have not reproduced yet. I haven't attempted putting them in the same tank and introducing them to each other yet, but I will. I'm planning to hopefully have eggs for 2012.
