La Ceiba Yellow Head. 8" male.
Last night he was displaying for me. His blues and greens were really popping. By the time I grabbed my camera he ran off. I never got him to come back to the front or stand his fins up like he was, but I did get a few ok shots of him. These are with no flash and really grab his natural colors.

love the teeth. When I was a kid my mom use to take me swimming in a river. She always said there was nothing in the water that could hurt me. Clearly she didn't know about Chewy. Granted I wasn't in the same waters but she would have said it even if I was.
Sometimes you just have the camera pointed in the right direction at the right time.
He's been redecorating and ripped his lip up good
His tank sits against my desk. This is what I look over and see when he feels like checking me out. Sometimes he gets territorial and gives me the ole aggressive dance treatment. I'll have to ckeck my video camera to see if I grabbed any footage of his badassness.
