my female convict is trippy :/

i got home yesterday from skool and i couldnt find my female convict iwas tripping out and then i check the hob filter and it was in their... idk how it couldve happend bc unless she grew wings and flew up there idk wat else couldve happend. what do u guys think that happend. shes fine now just a couple scratches :)
 
Yep fish jump! Thats why I keep a good hood on mine. was there an opening the convict would have made it in through? If so, don't see why its impossible to believe she grew some wings ;)
 
I had an 8' carp jump into the overflow of my filter.
Luckily I was attending to the tank at just about the same time, and he made it through with only a few scratches...
Would be a cool hybrid though, a winged convict!lol
 
i have had multiple fish jump out of the tank some i find some i dont until its to late..

never had one make it into the filter though...

prolly was getting picked on and figured whatever else the world had to offer was better haha
 
My girlfriend was netting out my surplus 4" juvi Green Terrors the other day and put them into a half full bucket...ready to drive to the LFS to trade in......she said she got 4 of them pretty quickly but one of them was a complete nightmare to catch and took her a hour..

...Anyway by the time she caught it and put it in the bucket...one was missing.....she said she looked for half a hour and couldnt find it anywhere so she was about to give up becasue she was on a deadline and the cat was trying to get at something under the sofa....so she looked and there it was...covered in crap...

She said she didnt know what to do so she put it back in the bucket and it just swam off like normal.

Anyway she picked me up from work on route to the LFS and we took them for a 2 hour drive to the LFS as traded them in...and he was fine...colours fine...etc lol

He must of been out of the bucket a hour easily!

I have 2 open top tanks with no problems. I did gave a GT jump on me once but that was a long time ago.
