My female dovii

4 inch redbellie Piranha
24 inch silver aro
20 inch marble sailfin
12 inch cuban
few common pleco's
22 inch clownknife
and probably something else I am forgetting...

When/what size can one exspect to see a dovii get a bit of aggression....

I saw a 3" male dovii destroying his tankmates in my LFS. They had him and a smaller dovii in with a bunch of jags.

From what I understand about these fish is, 1) each has their own personality as it relates to aggression. 2) aggression will increase as the fish becomes sexually mature or starts breeding with a partner.

I understand every fish is different-Is there kinda a standard rule to this by chance though...Say maybe in relation to size....

When do dovii generally become sexually mature....

Do I have a female like I have been told?

If male-Whats the chances it will breed with my female Rd/Midas that wont stop laying eggs?

Looks female to me. Not sure on the size at which they mature, sorry. I don't believe your dovii will cross breed with an amphilophus species.
