Unfortunately i lost a batch of fry a couple weeks ago when we had really bad weather down here, but they spawned 2 days after and this is what I woke up too over the weekend! Check out their CoLoR!

Congrats on the spawn:) sorry to hear about your last spawn cause that always sux. Your male is getting big bro!! Im not sure if you were aware that there is an informational thread about festae going on. But i was hoping to hear if you had anything to add from your experience, either good or bad:)??

I was sittin back watching in the wings,, lol. I only breed what I think to be genetically superior. I know where my festae come from, my pairs are all unrelated, etc. If I don't know where a festae I have came from, or if I don't like the features like shape, color, fins etc., I won't attempt to breed that fish. I have had some of the negative experiences that were shared on your thread when festae were scarce and I was grabbing what I could. I wound up w/ 2 to 4 w/ humpebacks that I belived to be the product of inbreeding. So what do you think QUANTITY or QUALITY? Lol

Quality is always better. And i am grateful to have both:) hopefully they won't become as scarce now like before.
