in my country, FH are illegal to be imported so we must breed our own.
some have tried breeding basic ones. red parrot x red devil is the realy only known common one avail.
i am getting a large male - and small female. breeding pair and regularly spawns and breeds.
try my luck at selective breeding.
as far as i know, no other breeders exist in nz that are attempting to breed nice specimens.
so i will try
any comments?
i will post pics of the male, a nice one, nice hump. modest colours compared to the ones here but nice though.
long fins too!
female is more modest in appearance, not at all spectacular but will cross offspring with father to get better colouration etc. later....
