Hi guys I signed up for this specifically. I have been breeding cichlids for quite awhile and to be honest im burned out on water changes on 20+ tanks and the work that is part of it and selling them is getting old too.
I have 2 7' 210's and they are fry grow outs... What a waste. I've been interested in arowana mainly silvers and blacks for years and am confident in my water chemistry skills and know how now to care for these beauties.
I want to start with fry or up to 5" juvies in one 210 for now thinking 4-6 and in a year connect the tanks in a L with a large blowthough but that's a later topic.
So sorry for the story but hres the info. I'm tired of loud sumps and hobs and want to install a beananimal style overflow and proper sump. Will I need to install the box across the whole 7' length? I have a brand new mag drive 1800 I wanna use so will that along with the animal style 1 1\2" downpipes be a good match? One 1" ,return good on a spray bar or split to two 3\4 " returns at ends of tank?

Will the mag 18 pump with 1 1\2 beananimal overflow be sufficient for the first year or so?couple fx6 down the road when grown and it increases to 420 gallons with 14+ linear feet of swim space once 12-18" size
