They look great, Tim. Firemouths can be pretty tough. I had one years ago that always started fights that he couldn't always back up. I guess your move to Florida went smoothly. I hope you find plenty of new tanks!
Mine is constantly fighting with my male Con...they sit in the middle of the tank & flare at eachother. Had to break it up once or twice
Thanks gruff master ...florida started out bumpy,but is getting better everyday. Daytona aquarium is my new fish heaven.I cant believe all the cool cichlids there that are from small medium to adult size and what you dont see in the tanks he will take you out back to his ponds and go fishing for until he finds them these 2 are 6 inches TL and if you ever think a tex can live in a 55 full grown,better go see his fish,lol
eclipse390... mine does the same thing as yours,it must be a firemouth thing.haha I also came home with a 5 inch male convict that wont take crap from the 2 FM's and have plenty of mexican stand-offs but no one is fighting my 8 in green terror will not allow it.

I thought you would like Daytona Aquarium. I haven't been in a few months so I'll have to visit the shop soon. I also agree with the size of a full grown Tex. They can be quite large.
