9 months now and the Petsmart butterfly Koi are doing well. Pond in the summer. But i like looking at them in a tank. A top down view is not going to be as good.

The white one I picked. The scale less one was picked by my daughter. At first I didn't like it because it looked sick when it was young. It is now my favorite of the 2
A top down vent? excuse me but i'm unsure what this is. Is it the same or Like to a Koi pearl? If not look into getting or making a Koi pearl so you can see them in the pond just like the tank LMK how it goes thanks.
To reference a Koi pearl is similar to a bottomless tank. In a pond top is sealed bottom is open and you vacuum water into the tank and its opening is below the water surface so it will allow fish to swim up and out of the pond to be viewed. The buy able ones come with a feeder that you can place floating pellets into it to get a good view of the fish, however I have not had trouble with getting fish into my experiments of this type of stuff.
