So I got my first 60 gallon tank.
I want an aggressive tank.

So far I only have one African cichlid and a Jack Dempsey.
I really want to get two Oscars.

What else would make a good tank mate?

I was also thinking of getting a baby arowana.
Would that be too much for a 60 gallon?

two oscars and an arowana will not work its way to small

Get a single baby Red Devil , and then when it grows larger upgrade to a 90Gal .

One of the best aggressive fish i know of that doesnt grow extremely large only about 8 - 10inch . I had one in a 100Gal for awhile got too about 8.5inch and would attack anything which would go any where close to the tank . He was fine when i first got him at the size of about 5inch , i had he in my SA ~ CA Cichlid community tank til he tried to kill everyone in his tank .

foget about the oscars, get a Salvini and some Firemouths and some silverdollars for ditherfish. and get rid of that african.

I was debating on getting a salvini. I love Oscars though.

A friend of mine told me to get a red terror?

1 Adult Oscar is gunna need about 60G of tank just for itself IMO.
So unless you plan on upgrading your tank fairly soon (Oscars grow very rapidly) I would have to say no, it won't work.
