My friend got a few africans for her tank, but one of them was getting attacked. So she was thinking about returning it to PetCo.
I almost screamed, but resisted the urge while simultaneously offering to take him in.
So we were on our merry way with jar in hand to go pick him up.
He's one of the little african albinos that you see at PetSmart & such.
But I don't know much about africans at all, this will be my excuse & intro into them.
So what exactly are the albino africans that are so readily available?
Are they peacocks?
I really have no clue. He's about an inch long and already made a footstep in the community.
He looks like this, except for a few things;
-His dorsal, instead of like this image, has more of a ~ shape to it, it dips down in the middle and goes back up, like the beginning of a perch-like dorsal.
-He has very very hard to see stripes, almost invisible on his body,
and his dorsal has some marbling.
-His tail isn't as trailed-out as this one's, but more uniform and even.
-Mine is about 1", and compared to this picture, has a way larger eye and more of a yellow tint.
He kind of remind me of a comet, I know somebody out there thinks the same thing haha.
