My First Arowana!!

Im soo excited! yesterday, loubard and me got our first aro!! :D
We both ordered a young black aro straight from colombia. Yesterday evening we could pick them up.
My little fella is now in a q-tank, peacefully swimming around.
He is around 20 cm and imo, he looks really good. obviously a bit bruised from transport but that will heal quickly.

btw, his eye looks a bit strange on pic but thats cuz of the flash.
 
Looking good! Now it's time to fatten him up a little :D

I've heard people say that it's better to drop the water level a bit with young arowana. What size tank you gonna keep him in eventually?

IMHO that's enough for longer than a year and possibly life, depending on the tankmates and decorations ... but I'm sure there are others who would (strongly) disagree with me :D

When I first read the dimensions of that tank, I was still thinking in inches. Daaamn ... that would make an awesome tank if it was!
