Hello this is my first post here
I just brought one Polyp. Endli Congicus this morning. Its about 4inches long. This is my first Congicus bichir, so I hope it will happy and grow well in my tank :D

My question : It has good marking on its body I think. Will it last longer until it grow bigger? Or do you have any tips to keep the mark dark or looks good? Because My Ansorgii just lost its mark when she got bigger. Thanks :)

it won't really make a difference when you add it, he just may fade out on that bare bottom tank is all. He's actually probably about as washed out and he should get. Once you move him to a new tank, just use a dark red or black sand, he'll color right back up.

Alright then, I'll try it later thanks for your answer bro :D

That's not a congi man ... I'm 99% It's a endli ... Possibility I'm wrong but I doubt it ... U don't find congis of that size ..... And black substrate wit lower jaw bichirs sucks makes them dull ... If u want color to pop the eat and have great markings use red with 10-20% black mixed in ... Some use red Black and Tan mixed but make sure u have red ... Red is key fir lj bichirs

It's a congi. I'm not sure exactly where but there have been some smaller CB congicus popping up.
