Not a discus guy
But lm loving the cichla/discus combo, something ive wanted to do for ages

I always hear that Discus are pretty hard to raise, but I guess with all the captive breeding going on with them, they must be easier to keep now a days. Good luck with it! Looks good!

A dead discus, that's what kind it is. That fish will starve with that cast of characters. Sorry to be so blunt but I have kept discus and they must be kept warm and alone for them to celebrate a birthday or two! Soft water and daily water changes are not fun. Hope it works out. Good luck.

"A dead discus".... lol... good one..

You do know that times have changed with Discus right? They have captive bred Discus that's been raised in water that's in the mid-high 7's PH...

This one particular one must be an oddball because at feeding it's more aggressive than my Bahia...

Thanks for wishing me luck...also thanks for being blunt. It's good to voice your opinion.

Also, for anyone who may have an opposite opinion, please share your thought's. After all, we are in a discussion forum and I have thick skin. I don't cry at sunsets so don't refrain from being honest.
