I framed out my first DIY stand this weekend. After finding my current standing is bowing I decided to fix the problem.

I think I might add a couple more front to back supports on the bottom as well as plywood on the top and bottom. I will finish up with some oak vanier.

The stand plans are basically the same as a members on here.

looking good cor, and looks familiar :)
When it comes to adding extra braces....to me you can't ever overbuild a stand.
I look forward to seeing it when your finished!
By the way, I like your saw horses lol.

Shelbyzman, I couldn't get my diagnol screws in very nicely for the end front to back pieces so I put in small holding pieces for the 2x4's. The pieces that the front to back 2x4's rest on have 4 screws in them so I feel ok about the smalls sections.

thats a good idea. I should have done something like that...I had to put the screws in at angle :nilly:

anymore progress cor?
