My first diy sump (pics)

Well I finally made my first sump. I think it turned out well for my first try at it. It's a 29 gallon and I didn't try to fit it under my 150 before hand and the tank is full so I couldn't get it under the tank...DOH!!! Anyways, runs great and the tank seems to be staying super clear. Is there any way to reduce the gurgleing from the pvc overflow?

Thanks...this whole fish thing started with a 90 gallon and now is turning into an addiction. I'm hoping to be gettin a 400 gallon in the very near future.

What pump are you using?

I'm not sure what pump it is. I got it used from a fish store that just opened up. They said it pumps 900gph but I don't think it does. I can go a little bigger I think, it can flow more but the pump won't pump more.

It looks great and I think you have just about convinced me to build one myself. Please can someone explain all of the components that go into one of these sumps??
