I never saw mine eat, but then it disappeared a few months later so I don't know if you should be considering my advice, but I'd try bloodworms and brine shrimp.

Nice tire track eel. For now, the best thing to feed it is frozen bloodworms, once it gets to around 8-9" you'll want to switch it to frozen/FD krill (cut into small enough pieces for it to swallow easily), once it is about 12"+ it should be able to eat whole pieces of krill (as long as they aren't more than 2").

i would try frozen krill or earthworms. GL

Is there a particular setting on the camera i should use to take pics of fish in my tank? I feel the pics could be better.
IME, it is easier to take pics of fish using a camera with manual settings, rather than just auto and other preset settings. Also, I'd reccomend taking pics at night so there aren't any reflections on the glass to deal with (though sometimes you can just cup your hands around the lens to eliminate reflections, but this doesn't work when taking pics of larger fish or when taking full tank shots), and avoid using flash if at all possible, it just makes pics look ugly and it destorts the color of the fish. It is also good to clean the glass inside & out before taking pics. Your pics would also look better if you had more naturally colored gravel. It is also helpful to use the macro setting (it is the flower icon on a camera) that most cameras have when taking pics of fish.

Start out with bloodworms and eventually you can get your eel to take tilapia and silversides. I have a tire track that also takes pellets.
