They are way to small to tell any traits. The only reason someone would know what they are is you told us. In most cichlids their color/pattern up as they mature. Some sooner than others but a good rule of thumb is around 3 inches, then they continue to look better over the next few inches or so. Patterns become bolder and colors more intense as they grow up to a point, this is for a lot cichlids. Maybe someone who has breed convicts a lot could give their input. Grow them out for a while to see how they turnout.
