my first festae

I picked up a festae from my lfs, they told me it is from the umbee king breeding line. It's about 4" and doing great in my 55g. Can anyone tell me if it is male or female? Thanks!

At that size a female should be much more colorful so I'd guess male

Hard to tell from the blurred picture, if that black line on the dorsal fin is really prominent it would lead me think its a female.

Here is a less blurry pic. There is a black line on the dorsal but it is intermittent. This was the most colorful and best contrasting of the lot.

Looks male to me. Females are more vibrant. I can be wrong but it's just my guess.

hard to say, females will get a lot of black in the dorsal. At 4" and being solo it may take awhile to show colours, male or female.

Just curious ....Did You get it at Toms in Long Beach? I took some of My Umbee King line babies there last month. Please let Me know and if so? any questions?
