My first flowerhorn

Hi all!

I've been a long time lurker, first time poster from Australia. I love how informative and active this forum is, it's always great to learn something new or just check out other people's awesome fish!

I've had my first flowerhorn for almost 2 weeks now. I was just wondering if I could have some help with ID'ing, sexing and determining the quality of it? From what I've read, I think it is a male ZZ, would this be correct? I'm not a breeder and will be growing him up as a pet, but I was just curious as to how the quality of flowerhorns here measure up.

I also have a jardini, 3 dats and a common pleco

Yeah I think your right too...If your not gonna breed him or grow what is he there for? Are you holding for someone?

Greg: I am raising him as a pet, not holding for anyone. Trying to pump him up with lots of hai feng, blood worm and shrimp

Sixa: I'm from Vic. Where are you from? There's a few vietnamese run LFS here that seem to have better quality FHs, but not as good as imported.
