my first flowerhorn

so this guys been at my LFS for about a month now. he was moved into his own tank because he was aggressive. then they had him in the back room. I talked the manage into givin him to me for 5 BUCKS. hes in his own tank now and will eventually go into my RTC tank once he gets a bit bigger. Hes around 5" now. Can anyone tell the sex and/or type of flower it is? Also is there anything i need to know about these guys? Thanks

He just needs a little tlc I bet he will beef up in no time. Watch that rtc you will be surprised what they can fit into their mouths I've had a 12" rtc eat a 6" red devil!!!
