Well I had a Silver when I was 10-15 yrs old and as of today I now have a Jardini. Should I expect anything other then the Jardini being a little more aggresive then my silver was? The Jardini is about 4 inches and so far is doing very well in the new tank. Thanks for any help!

Well I have quickly realized how much my Jardini eats. My Silver used to eat during the day however my Jardini seems to like to wait until after the lights go out. Normal? The tank started out with around 12 rosies, 5 good size tetras, a Pleco, and the arowana. Well as of now the tank is down to the 2 biggest tetras, the pleco, and the arowana. Hes a pig! Unfortunately he has not taken to the aro sticks. Any advice on getting him to eat them? He seems to be spending most of his time around the middle/lower half of the tank and doesnt really care for the floating food.

Congrads on you new Jardini. I have had mine for about a month now and I am very pleased with him. Mine is very active and just now understanding that when I get up to the tank it means feeding time:D I notice tho they are a bit of a jumpy fish and from what I have seen in here thats normal. Mine is already VERY aggressive but has tolerated his tankmates for now.

First off congrats on the Jardini...She's little small, and brand new, so let her accumlate...Have her get used to you, and in no time she'll be "tame..."I've owned 1 or 2 Jars in my past...I was intrigued by the differences between silver and jars...These fish kick azz...:headbang2

my stupid jardini only 5in long beating the hell out of this tank mates already had to take out the clown knife haha

this is gonna get interesting when the Jardini decides to eat everyone in the tank or knock em' around a little! I wish I could find one where I live, have to stay true to silvers here! Nice score!
