my first loach!

i got my first loach today!
hes a clown loach.
all i know about them now is that thye are slow growers.(how slow?)
and they are long lived and can get up to about a foot.
so...
any other info on them?
i heard they like being in groups...but will he do fine on his own?
if its really neccesary i will use my outing money to get a few more.
he does not seem fussy about food.
when he went into the tank he started looking around and then started searching my driftwood for morsels.
any help is appreciated!

I would definitely recommend getting at least 2-3 more Clown Loaches, they are a lot happier and way more outgoing if kept in groups.

You can never have enough loaches. How big is your tank that you have her in?

I just picked up a clown loach also! I'm looking into getting a few more, I have to get them a little bigger because they're in an arowana tank. I like them a lot! Has anyone had issues with them picking at bichirs?

shes in a 4' by 3' by 3'.
kinda small for all those fish.
120g i think.
getting a bigger tank in a while.
believe this...someone bought over 70 loaches.
yup.
there were no more left.
im going to another shop today.
letsee if there are any there.
question,the CL keeps searching for food but he doesnt care about pellets or whitebait.
he doesnt even know they are there...
