My first Motoro's

gday all,

just wondering what everyone think of these two i recently picked up. We are very limited in rays over here in Aus, are these fairly good quality for pure motoro's?

Male (around 10" across)

Spotting on the male looks great. Female is a little hit and miss on the spotting, but they should make some great pups. At 10" the male is probably mature, so watch him around the female. She is not breeding size yet and he could do some real damage in a short amount of time.
 
thanks scott, yea they are watched pretty well. i dont think hes quite mature yet as his bits are still very small. thanks for your thoughts mate

Any ray is a good ray by the sounds of things in your part of the world.
The male does have the better markings but like Scott says these two should produce very good looking pups, its not as though the female isn't nice...she is!
Nice pick up.
 
Agree with the rest nice pair of rays. Keep them fat and happy. :D From above-- give him 9 months and you can get some from him.

Thanks fellas, yea I was thinking the female is a bit plain but they are fairly hard to come by really. I don't think they will be far off sexual maturity as far as I have read. MP haha would be hard to beat the amount of bass hey!
