My first Murray Cod

I only recently moved to Swan Hill, which is right on the Murray River(home of the Murray Cod), and coincedentally started fishing like crazy again.
I have cought heaps of Silver Perch(protected) but it wasnt until a local took me out fishing that I finally cought a Cod. It only measured about 50cm but I was pretty happy with it. The local just laughed at me and we threw it back in. Heres a pic anyways.....

Nice, no tank large enough for him? I'm hearing a few mentions of MFKers keeping em

Nah, wouldn't keep a wild one. They are pretty endangered. Most of the people keeping them I hope would be hatchery bred. I plan to keep one some day, when I can afford a tank big enough to keep one.
