Just set up my first nano reef tank. (8 Gal) Got just over 2kg of live rock and 10 Micro Blue Legged Hermits so far. Was also wondering, how long will it take to be mature enough for corals? Such as pom poms, torch coral etc.

Cheers,
Keith

Yep...I'd say leave it a week or 2. Don't rush these things. From the shots, it still looks like you got a bit of new tank syndrome goin on. Are you only running the hang on filter, or is there a sump somewhere? If there is no sump, just keep an eye on all your chemical levels.
Very tidy, I must set one up 1 day.

Just the niarga filter atm. Checking th chemicals in my water every 3 days. Im looking at the "
Euphyllia torch" Coral. Is this a good coral to start with? I know they are aggressive etc.

The Euphyllia coral is a nice looking one. As far as climate goes, they like low light, low current situations. So this sounds like you. Try and get one at your LFS as these are renowned for not transporting well. Good luck.
