Just wanted to show off my first ever cichla specimens! I found a good deal on some 2" wild Orinocensis that i couldn't refuse, so i picked up 6! I'm already loving how interactive they are in such a short time. I can already hand feed them chunks of bloodworms! What can i expect for growth rate on these guys? Generally, at which point does aggression start to show up?
Here's some pictures!

Nice bass!

Nice pick ups, Orino's are one of the slower growing cichla but you should be getting around 1" a month until they get to about 12". That's good that they're already eating bloodworms now try to get them on a decent pellet and also some frozen fish like tilapia, krill or shrimp. I've gotten my best growth results on a rotation of pellets tilapia and shrimp. As far as aggression Orino's are one of the more aggressive bass. All bass will fight a little to establish a pecking order but it's usually not that bad unless A) they're breeding B) they don't have enough space.
