I have remodeled this tank three times now. The last time I just switched out driftwood and plants, but this time around, I decided to try live plants. Im really digging this setup now. I planted a small (maybe 3") crypt and 3 vals, and they really took off!
Went the noob route. Just grabbed some and tossed em in. I dont really use ferts, I bought a tiny bottle to try, but have only used it twice (not even the dosage, I lowballed) but they still seem to do well on their own. I have a siamese algae eater and a bolivian ram in here and they really seem to enjoy it.
