got my first pleco from a lfs since my tank started growing brown algae all of a sudden. was kind of weird. so it was a mere 1.98 $ as soon as i put him in the tank he went straight to work and in 1 day hes seemed to clean off 2 nice size rocks. my concern is what if he cleans the tank to fast do i just let him continue his duty or should i drop algae wafers in to offset him so that he allows the algae growth to catch up to his eating habits. hes only about 2.5 inches but the "sucker" is a vacuum i had no idea he would eat so much so fast

I had a 7 incher that I never had to feed, he actually ate flakes..... Got rid of him due to aggression though....

yeah complete a-hole. I wasn't gonna risk my gold nuggets health with him. He's still at my LFS in a tank with like 5 other pleco's his size and I see him attacking them all the time.

yeah bro, when the lights were on in my tank, everything was fine, but as soon as the lights went out, it was pure terror

nope, he was too slow for the Bala's and Tin Foils, could never catch them even though he tried all the time, but he probably would have killed my gold nugget. And there was no way I was letting a 5 dollar fish kill a 37 dollar fish

NO WAY man a gold nugget is one of the nicest plecos IMO. I always wanted one haha anyways well thats good that nothing got hurt.
