Hello! I picked up my 1st polypterus in a long time! :) When I first started the hobby in 2007, my 1st bichir was also a 3" ornate. Now I'm finally back in the hobby with an ornate. Starting slow. Picked up this 3" ornate about an hour ago! I haven't used my camera in awhile, going to take me sometime to get used to. Hope you guys enjoy the photos. :D (Tank is 5x2x2. in case anyone was wondering).

Nice ornate, your really starting small:)
Love the idea on growing polys, i started with a three 1"-2" senegal, then i feel in love with them, the more research i do the more i fell into poly world.;)
 
Damn bro those pics look magazine worthy...... love ornates tied with endli for my top spot. Looks great.


I like the idea of going slow too gives you time to plan out the stocking. Any thoughts on no. 2

i also started with a 4" ornate got him pretty recently too! about a month ago actually
