I just got it about two days ago at one of my regular pet shop, It got caught in the wild along with the feeder fish(most of the feeder fish in my country is caught in the wild). I call it a rescued because it was on the floor when I got it because the owner just take it out and throw it outside the tank since it useless to them(we usually don't took puffer as a pet in my country). Still this guy turn out to be pretty cool.Oh and since i am new to puffer and you ID this guy out for me please...:D

Nice save!!!!

I'm guessing it could be a Brown Puffer - Monotrete Turgidu, or a Fangs Puffer - Monotrete Cochinchinensis...

Either way, must say nice save on the puffer... congrats...

Does it have a red spot by it's tail? Look here:

Thanks you Pufferpunk!!! I check out the link you gave me and i found out that my puffer is an Abei Puffer....

Thanks again for all of yours replies!!

That is not an Abei puffer, they do not have red eyes. My guess is the same as FatHomer's, either a Brown or Fang's, depending on whether it has the red spot by it's tail or not.

Yes it does had the red spot by it tail..

It would really help to post a pic here for a positive ID by me. Those 2 are easy to confuse.
