So this is my first endeavor into saltwater and I am going to need the help lol. I have a 75 gallon two skilter 400s and four t5 bulbs. I am working in refinishing the stand and canopy right now and will post pictures as soon as I can figure out how to upload them directly from my phone lol. So me being a beginner... I need help building a tank around a dwarf fuzzy lionfish... It will have live rock and I want to at least be able to have snails to turn my sand. Thanks guys and gals

So far so good. I think that a filtration upgrade will be desired later, but it is barebones simple, and that is all your lion will most likely need.

A 75g should work tank size wise.

I know that this might seem obvious, but you didnt say if you had a heater, you are going to want one.

If you get a larger grained aragonite you can turn your own sand when you vacuum your substrate during water changes. I would recommend that. If you want substrate moving snails in addition to that, super tongan nassirus snails are what I would recommend.

GL, eagerly awaiting pictures.

Hereee we go :)

I have a 75 gallon two skilter 400s i have no experience with skilters are four t5 bulbs sounds coo. I am working in refinishing the stand and canopy right now and will post pictures as soon as I can figure out how to upload them directly from my phone lol. So me being a beginner... I need help building a tank around a dwarf fuzzy lionfish... got a lot of options here, triggers and puffers can nip the fins of lions and actually rip them off completely, but it really depends on the individual fish It will have live rock sounds good, i would go with almost all of it dry lace/base rock and seed it with a little bit of live, add some purple up, and order some copepods/amphipods, etc off ebay or something and I want to at least be able to have snails to turn my sand. DO NOT get bumblebee snails, get nassarius, they're awesome and stay under the sand eating detritus and almost magically appear once they smell food Thanks guys and gals
