my first SW tank

Thinking of starting up my first SW tank, and was wondering which one of these is a better form of lighting.

What type of corals can I grow with them? The tank will be a 40 breeder.

id say they t5 for sure. they have better spectrum and output then the PC's. only downside is the unit does not supply individual reflectors, but one parabolic reflector. Take you pick eitherway you'll grow the beginner corals just fine.

the T5 definitely.. i was looking at that model (but in the 8 bulb configuration) for my 75.. i've heard good things about them
