ok taking care of my first pair of pelco's
ive got a pair of juvenile Albino Pelcos
given to me by my favorite aquarium supplier!
(for free for my birthday )

it was quite nice of her but Ive never taken care of pelcos
and dunno how to feed them those algae discs
and if i introduce a pair or 2 pairs of bronze "Corydoras aeneus"
i can train them to eat algae discs

hmm quite the problem

Are they bristlenose albinos or choclate plecos? Anyway they will eat the discs but make sure you feed with lights out also make sure they have a place to hide cave or driftwood.

Just remember that plecos are nocturnal.

All of my plecos started out nocturnal but now they're happily swimming around and moving around in the daytime with the other fish. I don't have to feed them at night (never did actually) and he comes to the front of the tank when it's feeding time. I can even pet my gibby at times and he doesn't get spooked.

Plecos are fun. You'll enjoy them!

And as far as algae tablets. Just drop them in and go! They'll find it easily enough. Just stick to sinking omnivore food. Sinking shrimp pellets are good too. Mine go crazy for bloodworms, brine shrimp, algae tablets, shrimp pellets, zucchini, peas, green beans. lol :screwy:
