I had a thread out there to identify this guy and the majority has said florida/spotted. I do have one question, is it suitable to keep him in a tank that is 78-80degrees F? Thanks.

He's about 3 inches.

my buddy had one and had it in temperatures ranging from 70 to 80 and it did awsome

that is right around where i have always kept mine. they will be fine at those temps.
