I've dabbled with plants before but this is my first true setup, its a low tech setup.
14 gallon Oceanic Biocube

Thanks! and a planted 90 would be badass, hell a planted anything is badass! I think I'm going to comepletly plant my 400!
 
what plants would you recommend for a regular tank without special lights or anything, just normal lighting. Or would be willing to buy a cheap plant light (duno what they are). Looking to use driftwood and live plants in my future 30. Dont want to put too muchmoney or effort into it though.
 
All Anubias plants are great. They don't require any co2 and normal lighting is what they like. What is best is they require no SPECIAL treatment. The only problem that you might encounter is algae problems.
