SB bichir

Thanks to MFK bro Kai for selling me his SB albino senegal for just $8.
It is a real beauty. Here are the pics of it in the 280g. So short yet so thick!
I hope it can become as beautiful (and chubby :D) as Hao's one.

Lower Jaw species
So far I have only kept upper jaw species like senegal, delhezi, ornate and palma polli. Now that I have a larger tank, its time to venture into the world of the lower jaws! Most of you start out with an endli, I was gonna start with it too but the seller informed me it has fin rot and would cure it before selling to me (Responsible ;)). Thanks to MFK bro Cheesetain for notifying me that Aquahobby just received a batch of baby lapradei.

Its now in my sump together with my palma polli as it is only about 4" long. Not risking it with my larger bichirs.
(Pardon the blur image, he just won't sit still).

how fast do they pump up?

I saw a 7" at the store. Intense pattern and nice colouration but the boss told me its sold (screw the person who reserved it).

So I had to get the small one instead. It was in a tank with its "batch". There was a black sheep in that batch which was super aggressive and attack everything. All the rest (around 8) have damaged fins. The one I got was the one with the less extent of damage.

Growth rate on Laps is very varied mate.

I've had many that have grown super fast, but had just as many that have been real stubborn growers!

^ I'm from Singapore :D

Very nice pickups buddy.

Very bichirs. :)
