Hi, Its been a while since I'v been around hope anyone has some good Ideas. I had a 125 gallon 6foot, set up with around 8-9 fish a while back most of them died due to a electric problem and my water got bad. I managed to save a few but since then I felt that this one big fish I had from the first time is just bigger then everyone around him. So no matter who I put in with him is not safe. In general he seems pretty tame but from time to time I feel that he pickes on one and won't let go until it gos in to tress and dies. The orignal mix was set up by the breeder, but now I'm thinking fish his size will be hard to get from a breeder and expensive. I got them all at 3-4 inches. I have two left plus one is it the tin foil barb which seems to do pretty well with one of the other one which look very alike, I had two tin foils and that ne which where like a team. zbut he was the last victim.
I was thinking one of two Ideas, but I really wouldnt want to get rid off the big one. Or I should move him to a 55 gallon tank with maybe some think else, but I stil think now he need the bigger tank, Or I get him more aggresive fish but I dont want to stress him out. For him these smaller fish might just be luch. Do I need to build more rock?? I also had since day one 2 sun cat fish and a albino pleco, but they could hide well.
