MY FISH GOT ICK.

My flowerhorn have ick is there a way to cure it? I change the water with a tube and used the same tube on my 50g with my Catfishes in it. Will my 50g get ick too? How do I know if my catfish have ick. and is there a way treating it w/o chemical.

raise the temp to 86 and salt it

Second that, everytime that I got ICK I would raise the temp 86 and leave it for 2 weeks and then do a 20 percent water change and drop the heater 2 degrees and wait another week and do a 50% WC and leave the temp. Good luck!

Oh forgot one thing add Salt ICK hates aquarium salt.

Any kind of salt works, I toss rock salt into the sump, HOB filters, or directly into the tank, a handful at a time, until the water tastes salty. You must do this for at least 2 weeks, because there are dormant ich cysts in your gravel waiting to hatch out and latch on your fish.
