I'm out of town doing some training for work and I've been gone for 3 weeks. I'm due to come home tonight. My wife has been feeding my fish and she doesn't really know a lot about fish. Last night she sends me this picture and says I think something is wrong with her.

She said she hasn't really noticed but she hasn't turned the light on and has just been feeding her once a day, this is the first time she really looked at her. She says it's getting worse and her eyes are clouding up more and she's becoming inactive. I'm pretty sure by the time I get home it's going to be too late to save her. She's a 4 year old red devil in a 75 by herself.

Well I made it home but I'm too late :( She died about an hour before I got home. My wife put her in a plastic bag and put her in the freezer. Without seeing her still alive I have no idea what is wrong with her. The first thing I did was test the water and all of my levels came back normal. From the pic the best thing I can think of is that she had ich. Now I've got an empty 75 gallon tank here in my office, it's so sad :(

Without knowing what happened to her I really don't know what I should do with the tank. Right now I've got the temp cranked and I added aquarium salt. I don't know if I should go ahead and nuke the tank and start over or if I should wait a little while, do a 100% water chance, lower the temps and go buy a school of tetras or something to see if they get ill.
