ok maybe once again monster fish keepers can help me out.
my demasoni which i love is getting bone thin.
he has not been eating. his face is sunken in. meaning his so thin that even his cheeks have no meat on them. his cheeks look like a crack head. when looking at a healthy fish from the front you can see the girth all around. but looking at him now he looks like a tear drop. you can even see the bone on top of his scull
his dorsal fin continues on to his back. meaning he is getting waifer thin.
he is not eating flake food. I don't know what to do. the flakes just end up sinking to the bottom and getting fungus. I just did a 100% water change and used another tanks water to put him in.
his old water was the same as the tap at a high 7.7 ph level or so. (estimated) the other water i just used is about a 7.2. big difference on the ph test kit i used as far as color goes.
