i noticed my german ram lost a eye. he is breathing rapidly and just sitting at the top of the tank :( is this lil guy going to be fine?
what can i do to help him live

I am in the process of buying some Rams...is this a ram thing? How did he lose it? Melafix would be my suggestion.

That depends on how he lost the eye.

What are your water parameters and tankmates?

I'm sorry but this is bothering me WAY to much.

AN eye. Not a eye.

LOL are you an english teacher? Remember folks use "a" for words that begin with consonants and use "an" for words that begin with vowels.

As for your fish, did a tankmate take it or was it a water issue?

I kind of have O.C.D.

as for the tank mates im not sure if they did it or if it came from the stroe that way ( mother picked some fish up for me today)

tank mates consiste of

2 serverums
3 angles
and a few clown loaches

Probably lost it fighting, I had a Salvini take 'AN' eye from one of my cory cats a while ago, that little guy lived for a while after that, until it went missing when I was housing 3 HUGE shubunkin goldfish and my tank sprung a leak, pulled out all my fish but that one, never found that body, so i am assuming one of the GF ate it.

It'll be fine as long as it didn't get overly stressed by the fish that took the eye in the first place...
