ok im geting rid of my oscar, right. well after that will my fish ( 5 firemouths 2 dempsey ) start to breed and if so what one first? im sure i have 1 male and 1 female dempsey and i now i have 1 male and 1 female firemouth just wanna now who would breed first?? tank is a 29. the biggest cic is the firemouths from 3 inches to 3.5 almost 4 inches. and teh dempseys are 2.5 inches to 3 inches

whoa, dont' want to take the stocking police's job away but that sounds like alot of fish in a tiny tiny tank.
since you have 5 firemouths, i'd suggest keeping an eye on them to see if they will pair up, thats assuming they are mature enough for mating. then get rid of all the other fish, keeping just the pair in the 29G.

well 2 gang up on teh others ( firemouth ) and they lip lock eachother and sumtimes tail whip eachother and chase eachother alot then chase the others away. and there the 2 biggest firemouths to
Like Midasman, I don't want to be the stocking police either but IMO you should sell off the Dempseys along with the Oscar, C_B. Wait a little bit to see if 2 of the Firemouths pair up and then sell the other 3. If they don't pair up, you should still only keep a pair at the most and you could add some dithers perhaps but you have too many cichlids for a 29g.
I'll be the stocking police. If the Demps pair off, everything else will be killed. If the firemouths pair off everything else will be killed...
And since I am being the police, I'll have to come and arrest you and conviscate the 29 gallon.
I suggest if you dont want to breed, and just want to keep the 29, maybe get a honduran red point, keep 1 firemouth, and get some dithers/targets like Lamp Eye Tetra or something

well my gramma is threating shes gonna turn off teh elecrity upstairs so the fish wont have heat or air at nite.. so i dont now if this IS worth moving to my dads for. what do u all think? do u think i can talk teh owner of the house into letting me keep the dog cause shes all i ahve from my mom now
