my fish need hunting lessons

On Monday I put 9 small feeder guppies in my tank and one prego fancy
my senegal, african knife and Raphael cat must be hunting impaired as I have seen at least 2-3 fry on the bottom of the tank as well as 3 feeders.
The fancy I can believe them not catching she larger and stays near the top most of the time, the feeders insist on eating off the bottom and even I caught them hiding under the driftwood were the sen and cat like to hang out. also the fry seem to have been there since at least Wednesday .
Considering that I can only find about 4-5 fry in the guppy tank from at least 2 drops....

I have watched my sen try and catch one it was funny . the stupid male feeder is only maybe an inch long and is trying to eat off the bottom right next to my sen. he goes for it and it moves at the last second these feeders may have poor survival skills but very good reflexes the 3 feeders must be light sleepers
the ones my fish did catch must have been asleep they only seem to get them after all the lights are out fortunately they do get a good variety of other food
I still cant figure out how the fry have survived maybe their to small to notice....but all the fish in that tank will eat the even smaller blood worms
