My fish question

Hi, I have 4 geophagus 2 inches each, 2 bolivian rams 2 inches each and 2 large discus and I was thinking of getting 2 firemouths, will this work? If not what will?

firemouths r too agressive for ur stock. get more discus they feel more secure in a group of at least 5-6, unless the ones u have r a proven pair. U can also get angels, or a schoal of rummynose or cardinal tetras. It all depends on the tank size u have

I wouldn't risk it, firemouths can be nasty. A festivum, Blue Acara, Severum, Uaru would all work depending on the tank size..

What if the discus are about 5 inches around and If I get ride of them when they start to get picked on? Oh and all those fish are in a 72 with lots of hiding places

What do you suggest if I said I wanted something colorful but not too small? Like tetras there to small for me... What about rose line sharks? How would they do?

Well it would work but being that they're big and fast they might upset ur discus and outcompete them for food. Also both discus and roseline sharks do better in groups, so if ur tank is big enough then go for it. Smth big u could go with geophagus or gymnogeophagus species, i personally like tapajos read heads, for more colour maybe some rams or apistogrammas.
