Im surprised you have not considered selling all of the smaller filters and just upgrading to one big filter for each tank. Id hate to have to do maintenance on all of those filters. I dont mean to be critical, but how did you end up with all of those filters?

Very good question! I have been keeping fish for 30 years +. I have assembled them along they way. But you make a good point!

Also, call me crazy, but I like doing filter maintenance!

I always advocate you can never have to much filtration. I think you've taken it to the max!. One good thing about having all those filters going is when you setup a new tank you can transfer couple those filters to it and have the tank running safe in one day.
