My fish seems to be coming up for air! Help please?!?!

I was observing my kois and goldfish like 10 minutes ago and it seem that they are going up for air! The aeration is perfect but i dont know why they are doing that. Maybe there something in the water that is suffocating them?

Some facts that may help us fine a cause for this:
-My pond is right under a pine tree.
-There are mysterious oils in my pond. (Im thinking sap from the tree)
-This is the first time seeing my fish doing this.
-And i did not test my water yet because i lended my kit.

Pine needles, and sap is highly acidic.. That may be your cause.
 
Ok. you think i should change the water tomorrow? Its getting dark really fast. My friend is wielding me a canopy so i can put it over my pond. Do you think that might work?

Yeah do some massive water changes. And a cover would help a ton. Good luck!
 
How much water do you think i should change? I looked in the pond again and the mosquito fish looks like they are doing fine. Eating and swimming around normally.
 
Koi and goldfish need
More oxygen. I would tAke out 20% for the next 5 days.
