thats not a tilapia man, its just a midas/red devil with a long body and I never saw a texas either..?

Tanks going to be too small for this fish for life, and you'll probably have some fighting when the fish mature. Start picking your favorites now or you better get a few more tanks.

its definitely a tilapia-ive had red devils and midas also b4.If it was a devil/midas that size it would be the only fish in the tank.Ill try for closer/clearer pitures for you to see.the texas is in the corner of the top of the tank.And I am getting another tank tomorrow or Friday - its a grow tank for these guys.I got a bunch of mixed cichlid fry growing in a little 10 gallon that are moving into the tank you see here.

looks like a long body rd/midas, but in the first pic the lower jaw does make it look like tilapia. 50/50 on this one.

it definitely could be confused with a female midas but check out that link above and its an exact replica
