MY FISHING IS RUINES

Well to start off tthis years salt water fishing was going fine, been catching alot of sail cats in a hole by lake salvador in louisiana, in the lafitte area, then april comes along, bp spills oil, now every thing is screwed up and im forced to fish fresh water, i dont thinki il ever catch another red , spec, or black drum again, less long forfilling my dream of going deep sea fishing , this sucks really bad,
but what can you do,

I used to live outside of NO and there are great bass fishing lakes and ponds all over the place. Not to mention great flathead and channel fishing also. I was in New Orleans about 2 months ago visiting family and I could smell the oil in the air.... Really sucks whats going on down there.

Sorry to hear that......Im mad as h--l, one of my old army buddies family (him included) own a shrimp boat and make their whole living/ life out of that Gulf.....not to mention the fish!

On the radio today they were talking about BP restarting drilling again. It would result in the largest bore hole to date. And this time there wasn't going to be any politics getting in the way. And it would all be on video from the very start. And then I realized they weren't talking about British Petrolium, they were talking about Bristol Palin.

40-50000 claims are being denied at this time by BP without any evidence that they are false (yes the group who told congress no claims would be denied without evidence) and what is our government doing to correct this?!?

hey i want youll to think of this, why the hell is bp turning down all these options to cap off the pipe, hmmmm, well now they cant drill in the gulf, how would we get that oil??, well the oil left would give bp enough money to leave this in the past and still give them headway for the future, smart people,

and yes there is good bass fishing , but i miss my saltwater fishing , ive wanted "the big one" ever since i lost him, 40 minute fight 20 pound test mono, huge drum , and i get him to the boat , hes worn out im dieing, he make one last try for freedom, got 30 feet and as i start reeling it pops, he stays on top the water slowing moving away,and now ill never be able to reclaim that fish, wasnt like i wanted to keep it, 2 reason , big black drum got worms, and they breed really good
